    Before a cognitive-behavioural therapy assessment is arranged, the first step is to set up a 15-minute preliminary phone call, free of charge, to discuss your problems and whether CBT is right for you.     Although I have an office phone number, the best way to reach me is by email, as I work from home 2-3 days/week. All e-mails are treated confidentially. If you do wish to phone me and leave me a voicemail message, please include your name and phone number and I will personally return your call. If you would prefer that I don’t leave a voicemail message when I return your call, please let me know this when you leave me your message. Please note that phone calls may take longer to reply to, whereas emails are replied to within 24 hours.
